Subscriber Update

We’re headed out of the country today, so our trading activity will be very light over the next week. While we’ll still be monitoring our watch list, execution may be more difficult given the time zone difference.

Please be disciplined: honor your stops and take gains on options positions as they work. September has been a robust month for us — while most were bracing for a correction, we leaned into the strength.

Our largest long-term position has exploded higher. On April 11, we highlighted BABA as a long-term idea when sentiment was overwhelmingly negative. Since then, the stock is up over 60%, and we hope many of you participated. We continue to believe there’s more upside ahead, but near-term consolidation wouldn’t surprise us. To manage risk, we trimmed 25% of our position into this strength.

The market moves in waves — and the key to compounding is staying engaged through both the soft patches and the surges. Our cumulative performance demonstrates that discipline pays off over time. When stocks aren’t working or breaking out, it’s a signal to stay conservative. When they are working, that’s the moment to press the advantage. September has been one of those moments, and we’ve leaned in aggressively.

That said, since we’ll be traveling this week and unable to manage positions as actively, we don’t expect to add new trades until next Tuesday. We appreciate your understanding. In the meantime, please review the updated performance numbers on the Single Stock and Options pages — they’re extraordinary, and they don’t even include our long-term idea winners like BABA.
